Job summary

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a Technology Officer to join our Infrastructure Team with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration and SharePoint migration. The role involves administering the Microsoft 365 environments and supporting on-premises to SharePoint migrations, while providing 2nd and 3rd line support across our infrastructure.

You will work across three organisations, travel to supported sites as needed, and enjoy flexible working including some remote options.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating on-premises content to SharePoint or similar platforms.
• Ability to administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Migrate on-premises files to SharePoint as part of a council-wide project.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments for users and services.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support across infrastructure and business platforms.
• Contribute to technical projects and initiatives shaping digital services.
• Travel to supported sites within reasonable timeframes when required.
