Job summary

Connect Plus Services (CPS) is seeking a Network Operations Supervisor to keep the M25 network operating safely, efficiently and reliably. You’ll lead planned and reactive operations across your allocated area, ensuring standards and safety for road users and colleagues.

You’ll manage Incident Support Unit, Emergency Response Team and Recovery Operatives (Denham only), coordinating resources and delivering daily briefings, RAMS and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Experience in highways maintenance operations or a similar operational environment.
• Proven experience leading teams and driving performance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.
• A full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support ISU, ERT and Recovery teams across your allocated area.
• Coordinate resources to ensure operational activities are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Carry out litter surveys, gate stops and safety tours across the network.
• Maintain accurate records by updating the Maintenance Management System with works activity information.
• Support the development and implementation of RAMS and operational procedures.
• Deliver clear daily briefings covering work activities, hazards, risks and control measures.
• Conduct end-of-shift debriefs, capturing lessons learned and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Promote the effective use of digital devices and systems to support accurate reporting and record-keeping.
