Job summary

VanRath is assisting a large Public Sector Organisation in Ballymena to recruit an M&E Quantity Surveyor for an initial 6-12 months, with strong likelihood of extension and permanent opportunities.

The post focuses on cost management, contract administration (NEC4), and valuation assessment across major and minor works. A degree in Quantity Surveying and relevant post-qualification experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum three years' post-qualification experience delivering QS services.
• MRICS/FRICS or Chartered Member status is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost management for a geographically dispersed team across Major and Minor functions.
• Prepare feasibility cost options for Minor Works projects and tender reports.
• Administer NEC4 contracts and assess compensation events for payment.
• Prepare price lists, pretender estimates and budgets for projects.
• Administer final accounts and assess outturn costs of projects.
