Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is actively seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor in Maidstone. You will take ownership of post-contract commercial management for mechanical and electrical packages across a varied project portfolio, ensuring commercial success and contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-contract commercial management of M&E or building services
• Ability to prepare valuations, payment applications and final accounts
• Knowledge of tendering, estimating and procurement processes
• Understanding of JCT and NEC contract forms
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage cost planning, budget control and financial forecasting
• Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
• Negotiate contracts, variations and commercial agreements
• Oversee change management and variation control
• Monitor project costs and CVR performance
• Lead subcontractor procurement and contract awards
• Maintain accurate commercial documentation and records
• Provide commercial insight to support project performance
• Ensure compliance with contractual and industry requirements
