Job summary

BJF Group is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Services Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of post-contract Commercial Management across a diverse project portfolio. You will work with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to ensure robust cost control and contractual compliance from contract execution through final account.

The role requires experience in M&E or building services, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple live projects with accuracy

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QS in Mechanical & Electrical or Building Services.
• Strong ability to manage commercial processes across live projects.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage full commercial lifecycle: cost planning, budget control, forecasting.
• Prepare valuations, progress claims and final accounts per contract terms.
• Lead contract negotiations and variations with subcontractors and clients.
• Oversee change management and ensure variations are captured and communicated.
