Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established M&E contractor’s commercial team in the UK. You will take commercial ownership of substantial M&E packages across major projects, working alongside an experienced operational and commercial team to deliver value and final accounts.

The role covers healthcare, education, commercial and residential schemes with significant M&E exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within M&E/building services.
• Strong understanding of valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Ability to liaise with project managers and clients to drive commercial success.

We're working with an established M&E contractor who are looking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team following continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work.

You'll be commercially responsible for substantial mechanical and electrical packages across major construction projects, working alongside an experienced operational and commercial team.

A strong forward order book, interesting projects, an established commercial structure and the opportunity to join a business that is continuing to grow.

We're particularly interested in speaking with Quantity Surveyors who already understand the M&E / Building Services environment.

The project portfolio is varied and includes:

• Major healthcare developments
• Large-scale residential schemes
• Education and university projects
• Commercial developments and refurbishments
• Hotels and leisure schemes
• Complex industrial and manufacturing facilities

Projects range from technically challenging refurbishments through to large new-build developments, with significant M&E packages requiring strong commercial ownership from procurement through to final account.

In the role, you will:

• Take commercial ownership of M&E projects
