Job summary

BJF Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Services Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding Commercial team. You will own the post-contract commercial management of M&E packages across a diverse portfolio, ensuring robust cost control and contractual compliance.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to deliver commercial oversight from contract execution through to final account, providing insights to support performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QS in M&E or building services.
• Strong cost control, budgeting, and contract management.
• Skilled in negotiation with subcontractors and clients.
• Experience with JCT/NEC contracts and CVR reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage full commercial lifecycle from cost planning to final accounts.
• Prepare valuations, progress claims, and final accounts per contract.
• Lead procurement, negotiations, and subcontractor awards.
• Provide commercial insight to support project performance.
