Job summary

BJF Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Services Quantity Surveyor to lead post-contract commercial management across a diverse project portfolio in the UK. You will own cost control, contractual compliance, and profitable delivery from contract award through final account.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in M&E or Building Services environments.
• Experience managing commercial processes across multiple live projects.
• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage full commercial lifecycle including cost planning, budget control and forecasting.
• Prepare valuations, progress claims and final accounts in line with contracts.
• Lead in contracts negotiation, variations and commercial terms with subcontractors.
• Oversee change management, evaluate and communicate variations promptly.
• Monitor expenditure, track cost movements and report CVR performance.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, evaluation, negotiation and awards.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure regulatory compliance.
