Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an M&E Maintenance Engineer to service a static site in Peterborough. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across building services to ensure reliable operations.

Duties include lighting fault-finding, AHU/FCU servicing, control panels, ballast changes, BMS monitoring, plumbing, pumps and general fabric upkeep. Applicants should hold City & Guilds Level 2/3 and have experience in commercial/FM environments, with strong problem-solving and

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2/3 qualification in electrical, mechanical or plumbing sectors.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out M&E and fabric maintenance on site.
• Lighting maintenance, fault finding and emergency lighting tests.
• AHU/FCU maintenance and filter changes.
• Control panels maintenance and ballast changes.
• BMS monitoring and log keeping.
• Plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets; pumps and motors maintenance.

M&E Maintenace Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Peterborough - Up to £24 per hour

CBW is currently recruiting for a M&E Maintenance Engineer to work for an established company situated in Peterborough. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site.

Hours/Details:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00am to 17:00pm
• On-going contract
• Up to£24 per hour (umbrella)
• Immediatestart

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• AHU / FCU's (Filter changes etc)
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors

Requirements:

• Electrically/Mechanically/Plumbing qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3 ( 17/18th edition if electrical )
• Experience within commercial building maintenance or Facilities Management
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional and able to work effectively within a team
