Job summary

Aon is seeking an M&A Associate in London to join the Transaction Solutions AMATS team. Hybrid work in our flagship London office, with exposure to high-profile UK and international transactions.

You will deliver strategic broking placements for the Sidecar X solution, manage insurer relationships, coordinate underwriting, and contribute to business development through events. The role requires experience in Transaction Services or related fields, strong analytical abilities, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Experience in W&I, Tax or Transaction Services from Audit/Accountancy/Legal or related fields.
• Knowledge of the London insurance market is beneficial; experience with lineslips/facilities is preferred.
• Project management responsibility across multiple workstreams.
• Strong written outputs and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI; able to apply AI to support role tasks.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day delivery of strategic broking placements for AMATS’ Sidecar X solution, including senior engagement, underwriting process management, and policy binding.
• Support management of collaborator relationships with colleagues and insurers.
• Attend external networking events, conferences, and seminars to contribute to business development.
• Increase understanding of AMATS capabilities to connect with collaborators.
• Manage team pipeline, deal book and quarterly reporting to insurers.
