Job summary

Aon is seeking an M&A Associate Director in Leeds to join the AMATS team on a hybrid basis. You will lead day-to-day delivery of broking placements, client and insurer engagement, and oversee underwriting processes.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, project management, and networking with the M&A advisory/private equity community, with growth opportunities within Aon's mid-market M&A capability. Based in a flagship regional office, the position supports UK and international mandates and

Qualifications

• Experience in W&I, Tax, or general Transaction Services from legal sector.
• Established relationships with the M&A advisory/private equity community in the local market.
• Proven project management responsibility in prior roles.
• Experience in developing and managing relationships and attending networking events.
• Strong written outputs and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of broking placements, client and insurer engagement, preparation of insurer submissions, drafting client reports, project managing the underwriting process, and handling policy binding.
• Supervise post-transaction invoicing and collating post-deal marketing collateral.
• Manage collaborator relationships (client and adviser relationships are key to business generation).
• Attend external networking events, conferences, and seminars and contribute to business development efforts.
• Boost understanding of the broader AMATS capabilities to connect with collaborators.
