Job summary

Aon is seeking an M&A Associate Director for Transaction Solutions, based in a UK regional office with hybrid working. The role focuses on leading broking placements, client/insurer engagement, underwriting workflow, and post-deal administration within a high-performing AMATS team.

You will nurture relationships with the M&A advisory/private equity community, manage invoicing post-transaction, and drive business development through networking and cross‑team collaboration.

Qualifications

• W&I/Tax or general Transaction Services experience in the legal sector.
• Established relationships with the M&A advisory/private equity community in the local market.
• Project management responsibility within current or previous roles.
• Experience developing and managing relationships (internal and/or external) and attending networking events.
• Experience in producing written outputs with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day delivery of broking placements – including client and insurer engagement, preparation of insurer submissions, drafting of client reports, project managing the underwriting process, and handling policy binding.
• Supervise post transaction handling of invoicing and collating post-deal marketing collateral.
• Manage collaborator relationships (with client and adviser relationships being key to business generation).
• Attend external networking events, conferences, and seminars and contribute to business development efforts.
• Boost understanding of the broader AMATS capabilities to effectively connect with collaborators.
