Grade Band 5: £34,544 - £43,039 per Annum
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our IT Applications Support Team, providing second-line support for TrakCare. Used by multidisciplinary teams across NHS Grampian, TrakCare supports a wide range of clinical and administrative services.
Excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and a collaborative approach are essential. The team supports a range of clinical and administrative systems used across NHS Grampian, so the post holder must be able to communicate clearly with users from different professional backgrounds and manage competing support priorities.
The post holder will work closely with eHealth teams and clinical users to resolve calls logged with the eHealth Service Desk. Responsibilities will include investigating and resolving routine incidents and requests, progressing more complex issues through agreed processes, and providing guidance on the effective use of TrakCare. The role will also contribute to the development and maintenance of support documentation and procedures, helping to deliver a consistent and reliable service.
Candidates must hold a minimum HNC-level qualification in a relevant IT discipline or demonstrate equivalent experience. Experience of applications support and working knowledge of clinical systems used within the NHS are desirable.
This is an opportunity to develop specialist knowledge of a major clinical system while helping NHS staff resolve issues that affect day-to-day service delivery.
