Job summary

Original Style Limited operates a design-led tile showroom in Exeter, seeking a well-presented, friendly Sales Consultant. You will engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the sales journey with expert product knowledge and personalised service.

As part of the Retail Team, you will contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining showroom standards and handling stock, deliveries, and after-sales care.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in luxury/home décor retail preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand design concepts and present proposals to customers.
• Basic maths skills for calculations (areas, totals).
• Full clean driving licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and expert guidance at the showroom.
• Greet customers and understand their requirements, design preferences and budget.
• Build relationships to secure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Provide product information, pricing, quotes and after-sales care.
• Close sales in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and safety procedures.
