Responsibilities
- Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc., for new client booking purposes.
- Diagnose clients' specifications and wishes to suggest suitable travel packages or services.
- Provide ticketing services to internal clients via in-person, email, or telephone communication.
- Organize travels from beginning to end, including booking tickets and accommodation.
- Handle unforeseen problems and complaints, finding the best solutions to ease client concerns.
- Service client travel requests, ensuring the best value for clients while adhering to company policies, and offering expert advice on all aspects of business travel and Colletts Collection services.
- Maximize client service by minimizing errors and following Colletts Collection / Global Travel Collection policies, in line with client requests.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the travel industry.
- Excellent knowledge of travel-related software (computer reservation systems and GDS systems).
- Amadeus experience preferred, with a good understanding of air fares (published and ITX fares).
- Strong time management skills.
- Effective presentation, persuasion, and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of luxury worldwide destinations and upscale hotel products.
- Tour operator background preferred.
- General administrative duties as required.
