JOB- Business Development Manager

LOCATION- Remote role covering Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle

TERM- Permanent

Premier Engineering is working with a leading manufacturing company who are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to cover the North of England, including Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, and Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to drive growth and expand the company’s client base across key industrial hubs.

The Business Development Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• Proven track record in business development or technical sales within the manufacturing or engineering sectors
• Strong network across the North of England with knowledge of regional industries
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify new opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships
• Commercially astute with a strategic mindset
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region

The Business Development Manager role will involve:

• Developing and executing a sales strategy to grow business across the assigned region
• Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial sectors
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Delivering presentations and proposals to clients
• Collaborating with internal technical and production teams to ensure client requirements are met
• Regular travel across Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, and Newcastle
• Meeting sales targets and reporting on progress to senior management
