Job summary

Gieves & Hawkes is seeking an experienced Store Leadership professional to support the Store Manager in day‑to‑day operations of the RTW department. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the premium brand image on the shop floor.

You will lead, train and evaluate staff, ensuring product knowledge and service standards meet luxury retail expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in luxury retail, ideally menswear, at a Department Manager/Assistant Manager level or previously.
Clear, concise, polite communication essential
Passionate about tailoring, with a desire to increase knowledge.
Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
Immaculately presented
Punctual, flexible, and able to adapt to the needs of the business at short notice

Responsibilities

To effectively support the Store Manager in day‑to‑day management of the store, focusing on the RTW department and driving growth and profitability.
Lead and develop the sales floor team, maintain brand standards and visual merchandising.
Deal with customer enquiries promptly within 24 hours and ensure professional written communications.
Carry out daily floor walks, monitor stock levels and manage replenishment.
Oversee weekly training, staff performance reviews and close collaboration with HR/GM.
