Job summary

Hastings Hotels invites applications for a Restaurant Manager at Vespers, located in the Culloden Estate & Spa. You will lead a high-quality dining operation, drive guest satisfaction, and manage a team across breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner services.

Working around 45 hours per week, five days out of seven, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Hastings Hotels offers a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
• Educated to Level 2 (GCSEs) or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
• A passionate hospitality professional.
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience at a similar, senior level.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team and manage staffing levels, rotas, and wage costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage the outlet for guest enjoyment and maximum profit contribution to the Culloden Estate & Spa.
• Motivate employees through effective communication, training and development per policies and legislation.
• Support the General Manager with department budgets and forecasting to control costs.
• Ensure Hastings Hotels quality standards are understood, implemented and reviewed for continual improvement.
• Oversee stock management and ordering and maintain Hastings Hotels standards.
• Train and develop staff and ensure service excellence across meals and events.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Recruitment and deployment of staff to meet peak periods and business needs.
