Job summary

Hastings Hotels is seeking a reliable Front Office Receptionist for its five-star Culloden Estate & Spa in Northern Ireland. The role is part-time (21 hours per week) across 7 days with varied shifts including weekends.

Salary is £14,742 per annum, pro-rata from the full-time £24,570, paid weekly, with benefits such as staff meals, discounts, tips, and generous holiday allowance. As part of the Front Office Team under the Front Office Manager, you will welcome guests, check them in/out, handle

Qualifications

• A right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Excellent command of the English Language to at least B2 level.
• Previous Customer Service experience delivered in person, via email, and via telephone.
• The ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• A professional appearance.
• Educated to level 2 (GCSE grades A-C) or the equivalent in English and Mathematics.
• Excellent computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and ensure an efficient, professional check-in/check-out.
• Know hotel facilities and local amenities to assist guests.
• Promote hotel services to guests during their stay.
• Handle guest accounts and billing procedures accurately.
• Balance cash and transactions at end of shift.
• Answer calls from guests and external callers.
• Assist guests with reasonable requests for hotel services.
• Respond to complaints and find appropriate solutions.
• Maintain a clean and tidy reception area per standards.
• Report any technical or maintenance needs.
• Ensure reception and storage areas are secure at all times.
• Comply with health, safety, hygiene and licensing policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a harmonious work environment.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
