Job summary

Vita Uhaus in Manchester seeks a dynamic Head Concierge to lead day-to-day operations of our luxury residential property, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and premium service for residents. The role collaborates with the management team to guide a resident-focused staff, coordinate maintenance, enforce safety standards and oversee events to foster a vibrant community.

Flexibility is required with varied shifts between 7am and 10pm, overtime opportunities, and a schedule that includes

Qualifications

• An experienced and accomplished team leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, inspire and provide leadership.
• A hands-on attitude, combined with strong communication and people management skills.
• A luxury brand ambassador with experience delivering a premium / luxury brand service or product.
• A strategic thinker.
• Flexibility: rotating shift patterns, days and hours, with early starts and late finishes.

Responsibilities

• Leadership – Motivate the team effectively and foster a high‑empathy work environment.
• Tenant management – Handle resident enquiries, address complaints, resolve disputes and maintain relationships.
• Maintenance oversight – Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests; inspect property for issues and timely completion.
• Health & Safety/Compliance – Enforce building rules and safety standards.
• Emergency response – Be primary contact for emergencies and coordinate actions.
• Marketing & Event Management – Assist with marketing vacant studios and organize community events.
