Job summary

Diamonds Factory, part of Neve Jewels Group, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Lakeside team in Chadwell St Mary. You'll work with Store Manager to lead a small team, drive sales, and provide the warm, personal service our customers expect when choosing engagement rings and luxury jewellery.

This hands-on role involves coaching colleagues, supporting customers, and taking responsibility when the Store Manager is away. 40 hours per week, weekends on rota, with start date 2026-10-01.

Qualifications

• Experience in jewellery or luxury retail.
• Previous supervisory or assistant management experience.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Comfort handling valuable products and events.

Responsibilities

• Coach and motivate store team to meet targets.
• Deliver personalised customer experiences.
• Build relationships with clients for occasions.
• Monitor sales, conversion and AOV.
• Assist with rotas, stocktakes, VM, and daily ops.
• Oversee store when Store Manager is absent.
