Hand Picked Hotels in Maidstone, Kent, invites applications for a Sous Chef at Chilston Park Hotel. You will support the Head Chef, lead by example, and ensure dishes reflect seasonal variety with high presentation standards in a multi-outlet rosette/Michelin environment.

This full-time role offers up to £45,000 per annum plus a share of service charge, 28 days holiday, uniform and meals on shift, and ongoing training within a supportive team committed to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Active and enthusiastic candidates with strong Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef experience in a multi-outlet rosette/Michelin hotel environment.
• Willingness to train and develop the culinary team and lead by example during service.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of an exceptional culinary experience for guests.
• Oversee food preparation and service with high presentation standards.
• Help manage kitchen operations, stock and costs, and relationships with suppliers.
• Contribute to menu delivery across hotel events and private dining.
