Hand Picked Hotels at Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa in Longfield, Kent, is seeking a Junior Sous Chef. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef team, assist with food preparation, and help maintain high standards of presentation and flavour in a busy kitchen.

This full-time, permanent role is 40 hours per week over 5 days, including weekends on a rota, with a salary of £38,493 plus a service charge and excellent colleague benefits.

Qualifications

• You will have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
• A genuine passion for high standards, learning and development is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of an exceptional culinary experience for guests.
• Assist with food preparation, service, and maintaining presentation and flavour.
• Supervise sections, assist with stock control and food safety standards.
• Contribute to menu preparation for private dining and events.
