Job summary

Parsonage Grill in Oxford is recruiting a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, working alongside the Head Chef to maintain the restaurant’s high standards.

You will lead, inspire and train staff, ensuring consistent service in a 5-star luxury environment, and comply with health, safety and allergen legislation. Part-time hours may also be considered; meals on duty, discounts, incentives and holiday entitlements are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury environment.
• Minimum 2 Rosette establishment experience.
• Excellent written English and IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations alongside Head Chef and maintain high restaurant standards.
• Ensure efficient and timely kitchen performance.
• Lead, inspire and motivate kitchen staff.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Uphold Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene and allergen legislation.
