THE NICI Collection is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance across Bournemouth and other properties. You will lead preventative programmes, coordinate external contractors and ensure safety and building standards are upheld for guests and colleagues.

Ideal candidates will have hotel maintenance supervisory experience, strong knowledge of building services and a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance management or supervisory role, preferably within hotels or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of general building maintenance and building services.
• Good knowledge of health and safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• The ability to organise contractors, prioritise workloads and manage multiple requests.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with hotel teams.
• Flexibility to travel between our properties as required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance across the hotel properties.
• Develop and deliver preventative maintenance programmes to minimise disruption and avoid unnecessary repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues, prioritising guest safety and the overall guest experience.
• Carry out practical maintenance and repairs where required.
• Coordinate external contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to the required standard.
• Monitor plant, equipment and building systems, ensuring servicing and statutory inspections are completed on time.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation and service schedules.
• Support health and safety, fire safety and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Manage maintenance supplies, equipment and costs effectively.
• Work closely with General Managers, department heads and operational teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Support refurbishment projects, room upgrades and wider property improvement works.
