Job summary

Moonfleet Manor, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Manager to ensure the safety, comfort and memorable stay of guests on the Dorset coast. You will lead from the front, prioritise daily works, and manage maintenance across the hotel, grounds, plant and facilities.

This hands-on management role requires hotel/ hospitality maintenance experience, pool plant knowledge, and a proactive approach to safety, compliance and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a maintenance team within a busy operational environment.
• Good working knowledge of Health and Safety, risk assessment and statutory property compliance.
• Experience managing external contractors and obtaining and assessing quotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organise the maintenance team with clear daily priorities.
• Own planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across hotel, grounds, plant and facilities.
• Maintain health and safety, risk assessments, and compliance actions.
• Oversee swimming pool and pool plant operation, ensuring testing and records are up to date.
• Coordinate specialist work and contractor quotations, ownership through completion.
