Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking an Events Planner to join the busy Sales Team, working with the Sales Executive to ensure a seamless handover of events from enquiry to delivery. You will manage pre-planning details, draft function sheets, and coordinate client requirements with the wider resort.

With at least two years in a mid-to-large hotel sales environment, you will be customer-focused, methodical and a strong communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team while

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mid to large hotel sales team.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Methodical with outstanding attention to detail.
• Computer literate with experience of hotel PMS (Delphi & Opera).

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for all pre-planning details.
• Create event function sheets documenting client requirements.
• General call handling to discuss event details and objections.
• Conduct face-to-face site visits and tastings.
• Book and attend client pre- & post-event meetings.
• Assist in taking enquiries and cover phones during busy periods.
