Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking an Events Planner to join the Events Sales Team. You will work alongside the Sales Executive to ensure a seamless handover of events from contacts stage through to delivery, managing pre-planning and client communication in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a mid–to–large hotel sales team, with excellent verbal and written communication, strong attention to detail, and experience using hotel PMS systems such as

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mid to large hotel sales team.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills are essential.
• Computer literate with experience of hotel PMS Delphi and Opera.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for all pre-planning details.
• Create event function sheets documenting client requirements for the wider resort.
• Conduct site visits, menu tastings, and final detail calls to clients.
• Book and attend client pre- and post-event meetings.
• Assist in taking enquiries and handle phones during busy periods.
