Job summary

The Belfry Resort Desk role is the first point of contact for guests, handling room bookings, rate inquiries and special requests while collaborating with Reception, Food & Beverage, and Spa to ensure smooth reservations.

We value guest-focused service and attendance at spa-related bookings, with a commitment to upselling facilities to maximise revenue and delivering timely, accurate information to guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing or telephone roles.
• Experience in a spa reception or spa reservations department.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Sell, manage, and upsell The Belfry’s facilities to maximise revenue and build client relationships.
• Ensure smooth and professional running of resort services through inter‑departmental communications.
• Ensure bookings and queries are dealt with promptly and thoroughly, regardless of communication method.

Resort Desk

Resort Desk is the first point of contact for our guests, providing prompt and personalised assistance with room bookings, rate inquiries, and special requests. From dining, room reservations, spa days, the team work closely with Reception, Food & Beverage, and Spa, we ensure smooth reservation processes, accurate information, and excellent service that sets the tone for a memorable stay.

The salary for this role is £26,436.80 per annum, plus tips.

About the role

• To sell, manage, and upsell The Belfry’s facilities to their full potential, maximising all revenue opportunities to grow resort revenue, achieving targets and building client relationships.
• To be instrumental in the smooth and professional running of resort services through excellent inter‑departmental communications
• To ensure that whichever method a client chooses to communicate with The Belfry that the booking and queries are dealt with promptly and thoroughly

About you

The ideal candidate will have had experience with guest‑facing or telephone roles and experience working in a spa Reception or spa Reservations department

You will also be:

• Someone who genuinely enjoys providing exceptional customer service
• Driven to deliver guest and financial targets
• Able to develop strong relationships with your guests, teams and colleagues
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Great organisational skills
• An understanding of Opera, Premier Spa, Concept, Excel etc.
