Job summary

Fairmont Cheshire in Knutsford, United Kingdom is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage to lead all F&B operations across The Club Lounge, In Room Dining, Spa Bar, Orangery and Gordon Ramsay restaurant. You will drive guest satisfaction, revenue, and profitability while guiding a team of department heads and collaborating with Executive Committee members.

The role requires substantial F&B experience in luxury hotels, strong leadership, financial acumen and the ability to manage change.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in all facets of hotel Food & Beverage operations including a minimum 2-3 years of successful management experience essential. Forbes, LQA and five star experience is an asset.
• Strong culinary, beverage knowledge and a genuine passion and interest in the wider market.
• Degree or diploma in Hotel Administration from a recognised University/College Institution or equivalent work experience.
• Creative and effective leader with professionalism, emotional intelligence, communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the hotel's food and beverage operations ensuring the balance between delivering excellent guest service, maximising returns and developing the highest potential from all colleagues.
• Assist in the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's Business Plan, including the Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget.
• Oversee the development of menus, wine lists, promotions, specifications and standards for all food and beverage operations.
• Work with Sales & Marketing to ensure creative activations throughout the year to highlight the F&B offering.
• Ensure the hotel’s standards of guest service and seek ways to improve product and service while increasing volumes and profits.
• Coordinate the planning and implementation of Food & Beverage capital projects.
