Job summary

The Celtic Collection at The Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff is seeking a Conference & Events Associate to deliver exceptional service across weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and dining experiences. You will ensure an enjoyable, seamless guest journey from arrival through to departure in a luxury setting.

Working five days a week, including weekends, you will flourish in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on presentation, teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy event periods
• Strong personal presentation and professionalism
• Previous hospitality or food and beverage experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Delivering exceptional food and beverage service at weddings, celebrations, meetings and special events
• Setting up and preparing elegant event spaces to the highest standards
• Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every guest
• Supporting the smooth running of events alongside colleagues across the hotel
• Maintaining impeccable presentation standards throughout every event
• Bringing energy, enthusiasm and professionalism to every shift
