Job summary

Oakland Care in Chigwell is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our luxury care home team, delivering exceptional hospitality during mealtimes and supporting residents with day-to-day non-care needs.

You will help with meal service, keep dining spaces tidy, manage stock and temperature checks, and work closely with Head Chef, Reception, Housekeeping and Lifestyles teams to create a warm, welcoming home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a luxurious UK setting.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to support residents.
• Customer-facing experience with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service in resident rooms or dining rooms.
• Ensure water/drink jugs are refilled in resident rooms.
• Set up and clear tables before and after lunch service.
• Record and monitor fridge and dining station temperatures for compliance.
• Maintain the Bistro: keep it clean, organised and stocked.
• Attend to residents' non-care needs (curtains, TV channels, etc).
