Job summary

Oakland Care in Wantage is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our luxurious team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents. You will support mealtimes, keep dining spaces tidy, manage stock and temperature checks, and assist residents with day-to-day non-care needs.

The role emphasises a warm, welcoming environment, strong people skills and teamwork, with days shifts and on-site duties at Elmbrook Court, Grove Road.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxurious setting.
• 'Can do' attitude and willingness to support residents with high-quality service.
• Customer facing experience including building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal service in resident rooms or dining rooms.
• Regularly refill water/drink jugs in resident rooms.
• Set up and clear tables before and after lunch service.
• Record and monitor fridge and dining room temperatures to meet compliance.
• Maintain the Bistro to stay clean, stocked and organized.
• Attend to residents' non-care needs (e.g., curtains, TV channels).
