Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll influence menus, develop your team, and uphold the highest standards across every service in a vibrant, contemporary food offering.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready for their next challenge.
• Experience within a quality hotel, lifestyle, luxury, or premium restaurant environment.
• A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and guest experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing food costs and stock control.
• A hands-on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• A desire to build a long-term career within luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in leading the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
• Drive exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency across all services.
• Lead, coach, and develop junior chefs and kitchen teams.
• Take responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence.
• Assist with menu development, seasonal changes, and new concepts.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost management.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are exceeded.
• Create a positive, high-performing kitchen culture built on teamwork and respect.
