Soho House in London is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, ensuring high-quality dishes across services. You will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, develop junior chefs, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to menu development, coordinate prep and service, and lead in the absence of senior leadership while maintaining Soho House standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen
• Strong cooking skills across multiple kitchen sections with classical and modern techniques
• Proven experience supervising or leading small teams
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP, allergen procedures, and food safety practices

Responsabilités

• Support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in delivering high-quality dishes
• Oversee mise en place, prep schedules, and service readiness
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to Soho House standards
• Lead by example with professionalism, punctuality, and calm under pressure
• Take charge of the kitchen in absence of senior leadership
• Mentor and develop junior chefs, providing guidance and feedback
