Job summary

Castle Hill School in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Support Assistant to join our friendly team. You will help pupils during lunch, play and social activities, supporting their wellbeing, independence and social development.

You will work with pupils with SEND, helping them to feel safe, valued and successful. The role requires patience, kindness and strong teamwork in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with SEND or in a school setting is beneficial.

Job description

Salary:NJC 5 – 6 Actual salary: £5,009 - £5,088 per annum.
Contract: Permanent. Term time only.
Hours: 8 hours 20 minutes per week. Monday to Friday 11.40am – 1.20pm.

We areseeking a dedicated Lunchtime Support Assistant to join our friendly andsupportive school team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role inour pupils’ day, helping to create positive lunchtime experiences that supporttheir wellbeing, independence and social development.

You willwork closely with pupils with a range of special educational needs anddisabilities (SEND), supporting them during lunch, play and social activitieswhile helping them to develop confidence, communication skills and positiverelationships.

Experienceof working with children with SEND, complex learning difficulties or in aschool setting would be beneficial, but we welcome applications fromindividuals who share our values and are keen to learn and develop within aspecialist educational setting.
