Job Overview

We are looking to recruit lunchtime supervisors to assist us with our busy lunchtimes at the Primary School Phase.

Pay: Grade B, SCP 3 £12.85 per hour + holiday pay
Hours/Days: Monday to Friday - 1 hour per day (12.00pm – 1.00pm)
5 hours per week
Term: 38 weeks per annum (term time only)

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assist children during lunchtime, inside the school and in the playground, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment is maintained and that all children behave in an appropriate manner.
  • Provide positive and firm control by implementing the school discipline/behaviour policy.
  • Effective supervision pupils in the dining hall and other parts of the school.
  • Ensure there is adequate provision of resources, including play equipment and organised games, to keep children occupied during the lunchtime period.
  • Liaise with teaching staff to share information, concerns, and issues regarding children to ensure that there is continuity in helping to solve any issues or problems throughout the school.
  • Provide at least one professional referee on your application for safer recruitment purposes and be willing to have a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service Application).
