Job summary

Exceed Academies Trust is seeking enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisors for Knowleswood Primary School. You will supervise pupils during lunch, ensuring safety in the dining hall and playground while promoting positive behaviour and inclusive play.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, encouraging positive behaviour, manners and a calm atmosphere.
• Monitor and support pupils on the playground and in other indoor or outdoor areas during lunchtime.
• Encourage positive play, helping children to join in games, resolve minor conflicts and build friendships.
• Support the smooth running of lunchtimes by setting up or clearing away equipment as needed.
• Model and reinforce the school's behaviour expectations and safeguarding policies at all times.
• Have experience working with children in a similar role.
• Understand the importance of safeguarding, inclusion and wellbeing in a school setting.
