Job summary

West Walker Primary School, part of the NEAT Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to support pupils during the mid-day break. The role focuses on safety, welfare and positive social play, with a friendly team and flexible approach.

The successful candidate will have safeguarding experience, strong interpersonal skills, and be able to handle minor incidents and first aid while promoting a healthy, inclusive lunchtime environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to safeguard children, build positive relationships, and handle challenging behaviours with emotional resilience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work as part of a supportive team and a flexible approach to meet changing daily requirements.
• Experience working in a similar role in a school setting.
• Ability to deal well with minor incidents, first aid and the personal health and hygiene of pupils.
