Summer Lane Primary in Barnsley is seeking a caring, reliable School Meals Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team. This role focuses on a safe, inclusive lunchtime experience where pupils feel supported and engaged.

You will supervise pupils across dining hall and playground, promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and social interaction, and help with play activities. We value a calm, respectful environment and provide opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils at lunchtime ensuring safety and positive behaviour
• Support play and social development in and around dining areas
• Promote good manners and a calm dining environment
• Set up and clear away play equipment and dining areas
• Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised environment
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures and assist with basic first aid
