Job summary

St. Joseph’s invites applications for a Lunchtime Organiser (Midday Supervisor) to join our Trust at a pivotal moment of transition and development.

You will supervise children during the mid-day break, oversee dining arrangements and hygiene, and respond to minor First Aid needs in line with school policy. You will work closely with the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and class teachers to support welfare and discipline while respecting confidentiality of staff and pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with and/or caring for children within an educational setting.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• The ability to provide support with the medical care of pupils.
• A willingness to undertake relevant training.
• A flexible and dedicated approach to work and who will support the ethos of the school.

Responsibilities

• To undertake the supervision, security, welfare and good conduct of children during the mid-day break.
• To oversee the dining arrangements, including the hygiene of pupils and the dining area.
• To attend to minor First Aid needs of children in accordance with school policy.
• To liaise closely with the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and class teachers on the welfare and discipline of pupils.
• To respect the confidentiality of sensitive information from pupils and staff.
