Job summary

St. Joseph’s is seeking a Lunchtime Organiser (Midday Supervisor) to join our Trust at a time of transition and growth. The role focuses on supervising pupils during lunch, managing dining arrangements and hygiene, and providing basic First Aid as needed.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and teachers to support welfare and discipline, while upholding confidentiality and safeguarding standards within our Catholic school community.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with and/or caring for children within an educational setting.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• The ability to provide support with the medical care of pupils.
• A willingness to undertake relevant training.
• A flexible and dedicated approach to work and who will support the ethos of the school.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the mid-day break to ensure safety and welfare of pupils.
• Oversee dining arrangements and maintain dining area hygiene.
• Attend to minor First Aid needs of children in line with school policy.
• Liaise with the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and class teachers on pupil welfare and discipline.
• Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information from pupils and staff.
