Job summary

St. Joseph’s is seeking a Lunchtime Organiser (Midday Supervisor) to join the team and help manage the mid-day break for pupils. You will supervise behaviour, oversee dining and hygiene, and respond to minor First Aid needs under school policy.

You will work closely with the Senior Lunchtime Organiser and teaching staff to support welfare, discipline and confidentiality, while upholding the school ethos and safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to provide support with medical care of pupils.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.
• Flexible and dedicated approach aligned with school ethos.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, ensure welfare and good conduct of children during mid-day break.
• Oversee dining arrangements and hygiene of pupils and dining area.
• Attend to minor First Aid needs in line with school policy.
• Liaise with Senior Lunchtime Organiser and class teachers on welfare and discipline.
• Respect confidentiality of sensitive information from pupils and staff.
