Job summary

St Swithun's Church of England VC Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible person to supervise pupils during the school lunch break. The role includes helping set up the hall for lunch, assisting children as they collect and eat food, and managing behaviour in the lunch hall and on the playground during playtime.

Hours are 12:00–13:15, Monday to Friday, term time only plus inset days, and the position is permanent.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is advantageous.
• First aid certificate is desirable but not essential.
• DBS and online checks will be completed prior to interview.

Job description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, responsible and proactive person to undertake supervision of pupils during the school lunch break.

Part of the role is to help set up the hall for lunch time, assisting children whilst they are collecting/eating food and managing their behaviour both in the lunch hall and on the playground during play time.

This role requires the ability to think on your feet and can often be very busy and varied. If you are patient, kind and caring, enjoy working with children and you feel you have the right skills, we look forward to hearing from you. A current first aid certificate would be desirable but not a necessity.

The hours are 12pm - 1.15pm, Monday to Friday, term time only, plus inset days. This position is permanent.
