Job summary

E-ACT The Grange School is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisory Assistant in Daventry. You will supervise lunchtime play and dining, promote positive behaviour, and help create a safe, inclusive environment supporting pupil wellbeing as part of our caring school community.

The role is part-time, term-time only, with 7.5 hours per week across 38 weeks, offering a rewarding chance to contribute to children’s daily experience and safety in a nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Basic first aid awareness or willingness to train.
• Good organisation and a general education (GCSEs or equivalent).
• Prior school-based experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils before, during and after lunchtime.
• Promoting positive behaviour and a safe, welcoming dining area.
• Supervising outdoor play and supporting pupil wellbeing.
• Assisting pupils with any lunchtime difficulties and providing support.
