Job summary

Gladstone Road Primary School is seeking a friendly and caring Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team for a part-time role during lunch and playtime. You will help ensure a safe, happy, and engaging lunchtime experience for our pupils.

The successful candidate will support behaviour management, assist with meals and play activities, and work effectively as part of a team to promote positive social development during the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Keep an eye on playgrounds, fields, cloakrooms, and classrooms during lunch.
• Help clear away food and equipment after meals.
• Handle minor first aid and report incidents properly.
• Support behaviour management and report concerns.
• Spot and report unusual or inappropriate behaviour.
• Settle small disputes between pupils.
• Help with lunchtime activities and equipment setup.
