Job summary

E-ACT Braintcroft Academy is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to support pupils during lunchtime and outdoor activities. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming dining area and assist pupils with difficulties, while promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies.

The role requires strong communication and safeguarding awareness, with a caring, proactive approach to pupil wellbeing. Prior school-based experience is desirable and GCSEs or equivalent are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with pupils and staff.
• Experience managing behaviour positively and consistently per school policy.
• Safeguarding focus with up-to-date training and a caring approach.
• Teamwork with independence when required.
• GCSEs or equivalent and basic first aid awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils before, during and after lunchtime, including meals.
• Maintaining a clean, safe dining environment and encouraging pupils to clear away trays and belongings.
• Supervising pupils during outdoor play and recreational activities.
• Assisting pupils with difficulties that may arise during lunchtime and providing appropriate support.
