Job summary

Slade Primary School in Gravelly Hill invites applications for a Lunchtime Supervisor to help create a safe, happy and inclusive lunchtime for all children. You will supervise during lunch and play, support positive behaviour and help maintain a welcoming, calm environment.

Working as part of a friendly team, you will follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures, promote good relationships, and assist with lunch-time routines to ensure children enjoy their break and feel secure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during lunchtime in the dining area and outside.
• Help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support children in resolving minor disagreements.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children.
• Support children to develop positive social skills and enjoy their lunchtime.
• Follow the school's safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a positive and well-organised lunchtime.
