Job summary

The Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor for Harlescott Junior School. This role supports pupils during lunch in the dining hall and playground, ensuring a safe, caring environment and positive play experiences.

The successful candidate will be patient, reliable, and able to work as part of a team, with safeguarding responsibilities and the ability to handle busy lunchtime periods.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Ability to show safeguarding awareness and care for pupils.
• DBS checks will be carried out as part of pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in dining hall, playground, and other school areas during lunch breaks.
• Encourage positive behaviour and good manners.
• Support children in safe and inclusive play.
• Assist with minor first aid incidents when required.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
• Report concerns or incidents to school staff.

Actual Annual Salary – £4,341.62

7.5 hours per week - Monday – Friday, 11:45am-1:15pm

Harlescottt Junior School are seeking to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiasticLunchtime Supervisorto join our friendly school team. The successful candidate will help ensure that pupils have a safe, happy and positive experience during the lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and other school areas during lunch breaks
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
• Supporting children in safe and inclusive play
• Assisting with minor first aid incidents where required
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
• Reporting any concerns or incidents to school staff
