Job summary

Harlescott Junior School is seeking a caring Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly team. The role is permanent and term-time, with 7.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday (11:45am–1:15pm).

The successful candidate will supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground, encourage good behaviour, support safe play and assist with minor first aid, with safeguarding and child welfare at the forefront. DBS clearance is required.

• Report concerns to school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground and other school areas during lunch breaks
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
• Supporting children in safe and inclusive play
• Assisting with minor first aid incidents where required
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times
• Reporting any concerns or incidents to school staff
